AFI

AFI (A Fire Inside) is an American rock band from Ukiah, California, formed in 1991. Originally rooted in hardcore punk, they evolved through horror punk and emo into a more melodic, gothic-tinged post-hardcore/alternative rock style . Led by vocalist Davey Havok, guitarist Jade Puget, bassist Hunter Burgan, and drummer Adam Carson since 1998, AFI gained mainstream attention with their sixth album, Sing the Sorrow (2003), featuring hits like “Girl’s Not Grey” and Miss Murder from Decemberunderground (2006). They've continued to reinvent themselves, blending new wave, post-punk, and gothic elements across albums like Burials, The Blood Album, and Bodies.
